Congrats on the big two O! I've met some fabulous friends because of this site.

...and the site shares my birthday, apparently.

Congratulations & thank you! Joined back in 2003, met a lot of great people, spent a lot of $ on Ricks. Enjoyed every minute of it.

I have already posted a congratulations message to Peter and Gil on Facebook, but I will also add a quick word here as well.

40,000 items that are publically searchable in the register too! Quite an achievement!

All the best from my corner of Canada.

Congrats, Peter. I was a member from the very beginning, but had to recreate my profile at some point, maybe due to a crash or something. I have never posted very much but have learned a lot over the years and registered most of my Rics. Cheers.

I found it about 6 months after it was formed. I have no recollection of that time, even though I was young (in college). I think I had just first purchased my first Rickenbacker, a 360/12CW. Wish I still had it, but am glad I still have the forum!

I was a casual viewer of the website Rickenbacker Planet (bought my first Rickenabcker, a 360/12 MG through it, in fact), and when it went away I migrated over here and have been here since. 8)

Good for you, Peter. The RRF has proven to be a very valuable source in my ongoing "RIC Education".
I've learned a lot, and been entertained in the process. And it's FREE!
Many thanks and continued success. This site is a treasure.

I was in college when I joined, too! Couldn't afford a Rickenbacker yet, but I was happy to read up on them in the meantime.

Didn't realize at the time how new the forum was!

Congratulations once again, Peter!

I discovered the forum in 2007 through Dale Fortune; I'd sent Dale a guitar for mods a month or so before, and Dale left me a phone message asking if I was going to be at SCARF.

I didn't know what that was, and Dale mentioned the Rick Resource Forum, so I joined and asked about SCARF. Joey got back to me right away, and I showed up with my then-roommate Stacy, who was popular... being female, cute, friendly, and interested in music, combine for a great icebreaker-who knew?

I've made a lot of friends here over the past thirteen years (this week, of this month). It's been a great ride. Looking forward to the pandemic's passing so we can all get back to meeting up playing music again!
There is no reason to ever be bored.

...why yes, I suppose I do have a double bound guitar fetish...

"Uh, I like the double bounds. . . ."

Congratulations to Peter for a Happy 20 years!

Happy 20 Years, RRF! In late November, I'll have been aware and a member of this site for 13 years. Thanks to all the people who I've made friends with over the years, and all the fun I've had at the SoCal meetups I attended back in the day. These days, I've got three Rics in my stable.

Although I don't post like I used to 1/64th of the amount that I did up to five years ago, I still check in every now and again, as there is a treasure trove of wonderful and knowledgeable information about some of the finest electric guitars out there.
