The 730L MG in Action!

Post by doctorwho »

My bandmate Bobbi was a member of a barbarshop singing ensemble, and they put on a show before the COVID-19 thing. They wrote a piece for our band to perform a number. Unfortunately, our second guitarist, Ash, couldn't make it at the last minute, so it wound up being a duo. It's at about 35 minutes in the video:

I did have a brief bit of "fumble fingers" near the end but played through it. :? 8)

The stage manager kept commenting after the show that he couldn't believe how much sound the 730L projected.

Sounded great, Gary. I wish I could have .00001 % of your singing abilities! The 730L sounded nice and bright, just like my old 730/12L had.

Gary -- great job on the vocals and guitar. 8) Your 730 really does have a ringing, strong sound projection !!

IIRC, my old 730/12L is buried somewhere in this recording. I played my '98 4001V63 and I think the singer's son played the 730/12L as a rhythm instrument in "Galileo's Eye".

We recorded this around 15 years ago.
