Protective case for a 1958 335

Post by iamltjbukem »

Hi all!

I am in need of a protective case for my 1958 Rickenbacker 335...

The one that came with it is the original but offers no real protection.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Do you plan to travel with it, ship it, etc.?

Try Ameritage, Calton, Hoffee, for some good case makers.

Thanks for the reply!

It is for jamming with friends...whenever that happens again...

I will check into those companies

If you're not doing any serious traveling (which would justify a flight case or Carlton type thing), you might just want to get in touch with G&G cases, who make the current "vintage style" case for Rickenbacker, Fender and many others.

The modern version of the vintage case is much better, with a lot more protection all around the guitar. G&G might even have a template for a Capri already, and can make one with form fitted sides.
