Bass Pedal Tuner?

Post by Bighouse »

Any basic sound recommendations for a pedal tuner for my 4001? I see lots of different models available on Amazon and elsewhere. Seems there are two tiers in pricing (and features?)- those around $30 and then those upward of $80+.
Because I told you before- oh, you can't do that.

I like the Boss models.

I have a TU-2 and a TU-3. There are other variations. I also have a korg but I don’t like it as much.

Cheaper and smaller models would also work just fine.

Not that I ever expect to do so, but can you read it in sunlight? I’ve read that’s one drawback to this device-can’t be read in sunlight conditions.

It's been a long time since I did an outdoor gig using it, but was fine

You need to play outdoors more often- that FG looks nice in sunlight! :)

NGL, I'm envious of your checkerboard binding and your flame grain.

Well, I went ahead and ordered the Peterson model, based on the recommendations here and elsewhere.

I have a Boss Tu-3, have used a Tu-2 in the past, and a Korg Pitch Black (though mine is red).

Generally the $80 ones are the good ones.

I'm real happy with the Peterson tuner. It's very easy to read and use.
