Looking to buy back my first Rick purchased in 1990 lost in 2004

Post by Rick1990 »

I was working for US Airways in the year 2004 when I lost my first Rickenbacker in Hong Kong. It was my first good guitar and I purchased it at Alpha music in 1992. It appears to have been registered on this great site in 2017. fireglo 360wb made in April of 1990. I added a humbucker to the neck position. It is very recognizable guitar with many unique markings like the neck humbucker and broken pickguard. I'm not laying claim to the guitar or reporting it as stolen. I would like to purchase it from whoever currently has it.

It can happen! A few of us here have put out the word and retrieved our favorite Ricks from out in the wild. Best of luck.

Also, good man, with your Ibanez UE multi-effects box. I have a couple of those, great units.

Thanks for the heads up, where should I post my request for maximum impact? Thanks to anyone encouraging me to keep on keeping on or any advice anyone can give me on how to contact the new owner.

I would try the Rickenbacker basses section on this site. But overall site traffic here pales in comparison, sadly, to the many facebook groups dedicated to Rickenbackers. That's where you'll reach the most people. Good luck with the search!
