Rickenbacker guitar model 481 produced in 1975

I own this guitar since mid 70's and I will probably keep it up to death. I'm just curious about the actual value? Does someone have an idea? There are only original parts on it and my guitar is in a very good condition even after 25 years.

What color is it ?

Have you ever had the pickguard off it and what names are inside?

I haven't seen one of these since I worked at the factory!
So you too want yours "ALAPWOB"?!?!

Andreca: You may wish to post this question under the Rickenbacker Appraisals topic so that people interested in appraisals may view it.
Life, as with music, often requires one to let go of the melody and listen to the rhythm

Mark the guitar is black. I have never take out the pickguard (white) then I really don't know what is inside. Could it be interesting and could it help to get the value?

under the guard are names and hash markings and sometimes other things.

when I get a new guitar the first thing after playing it for 30 minutes ,that I do is see what is inside.
then I make all the adjustments and then ...my curiousity is satisfied and it plays the way i want it to play .

Do you have slanted frets or is it a conventional fretboard?
So you too want yours "ALAPWOB"?!?!
