Do a youtube search for Coal Black And De Sebben Dwarfs. Amazing Warner Bros. cartoon that was banned after it came out during WW II. 8)
Um, Um, Uh...........PM SENT.
As you well know, Mr. T (I hope you don't have 5000 fingers  ), these have long ago become part of the, sometimes celebrated, art of the cartoon. They are shown in theaters these days; you need to get out more often!

It just kills me to see DiMarzios in any Rick. Just my 2 cents worth....but I'd make a 4002 style guard for the guitar, install a couple RIC HB1 humbuckers with push-pull coil taps on the volume controls, replace the stock caps with .022uF ones, and replace the knobs with vintage ones.

Are you going to keep it as is, restore it to stock condition, or make it your own. I like Danes idea very much.
Also, congrats on getting such a deal!

Thanks guys. Now my 480 plays great! My friend set it up for me and he changed the bridge to a Schaller roller bridge which works great with the Bowen Handel. He also put a coil tap on the bridge pick up.

Haha, maybe fit it with a horseshoe pickup in the bridge? No,I think I will keep it as is. I like the way it sounds.

I found out the bridge pickup is actually a a 70s DiMarzio "Dual Sound".That's why it has 3 conductors). The 70s "Super Distortion" pickups only had two.
