I don't think Ron sold the Capris to finance this one. If you read his original post he says that he traded some non Ric guitars for the Polynesian.

I only just noticed this too.... Congratulations on acquiring a very special little guitar Ron!

It would be great to see a family photo with all the known V8X guitars...so don't forget to tell Mr Hoover
