Lakland Skyline 44-64 VS P Bass

I'd love to have one of the 'duck dunn' p-basses. I just haven't gotten around to it yet.

A "Duck Dunn" P-bass is just a regular P-bass with a '70's block inlay Jazz neck and flatwounds.

It's now called a 44-64M I think...

We're both wrong - it's the 44-64 Custom.

I have only seen 5 string basses with 1 7/8" nuts (I have owned/own a few), that would feel too wide for comfort on a 4 string IMO.

Looks like Lakland will have to wait. I found an 82 P bass. at 8.5lbs, nut width 1.75, and priced around the same as a used Lakland. Seems like the move for now

Meanwhile, who do we know in Baltimore(actually Prince Frederick, MD)? I found a Lakland on CL but, I'm willing to bet the guy doesn't know how to ship.
