I think the Duck Dunn is the 44-60. Nut width is 1.5 like a jazz bass.
Re: Lakland Skyline 44-64 VS P Bass
That's because Dunn put a Jazz Bass neck on his Precision, hence, the A nut.marc61 wrote:I think the Duck Dunn is the 44-60. Nut width is 1.5 like a jazz bass.

We're both wrong - it's the 44-64 Custom.marc61 wrote:I think the Duck Dunn is the 44-60. Nut width is 1.5 like a jazz bass.

We trust you would never echo here for no reason

A=1.5. A=1.5. A=1.5.A=1.5.............
Re: Lakland Skyline 44-64 VS P Bass
I still wanna see a D (1.875 nut width) neck
Re: Lakland Skyline 44-64 VS P Bass
I have only seen 5 string basses with 1 7/8" nuts (I have owned/own a few), that would feel too wide for comfort on a 4 string IMO.
Re: Lakland Skyline 44-64 VS P Bass
Looks like Lakland will have to wait. I found an 82 P bass. at 8.5lbs, nut width 1.75, and priced around the same as a used Lakland. Seems like the move for now
Re: Lakland Skyline 44-64 VS P Bass
Meanwhile, who do we know in Baltimore(actually Prince Frederick, MD)? I found a Lakland on CL but, I'm willing to bet the guy doesn't know how to ship.

Cool! Congrats!
I have NO idea what to do with those skinny stringed things... I'm just a bass player...

Geez, the seller wasted no time in removing the listing!
