Confluence Pics

Post by rickfan60 »

Here are some random images from the weekend. As you can tell from these images, we had a great time!

Here is my hotel room filled with cases. There was just enough room left for me to sleep.

And now a word from our sponsor. Tony Dudzik graciously covered the cost of the room for one of the days. See tony for ALL of your pickguard needs. He is a first class guy who does first class work!

I wish you guys (non-attendees) could have seen the van that Paul Boyer and Ted Staberow showed up in.....when I looked into the back of that van.....there were at least THIRTEEN cases piled high...unbelievable!! I wish we'd have taken a picture of THAT sight! LOL!!

Fantastic Chris. Thanks for these great photos of both the instruments and the players.
Life, as with music, often requires one to let go of the melody and listen to the rhythm

Then there was the Beatle Jam by Paul, Steve, and Tony. These guys rocked for more than an hour. The desk clerk told me later that she was digging it all the way through and was disappointed when we closed the door!

Let's see.....looks like there were at LEAST 30 Ric basses(not sure how many Ted had in the rack), and maybe 4 geetars, a Hofner....

...not bad for only Confluence Deux....

I'm thinking we'll need a bit larger venue for next year's confluence ;^)
