Trapeze vs. Accent vs. "R" tailpiece

Post by milo »

I know that the trapeze tailpiece is the best (in fact I called to order one yesterday) but I got my first chance to play a 325/v63 last night and was pretty impressed with the accent vibrato. It seemed to stay in tune very well for the 10 minutes aplayed around with it. Will an accentvibrato used on a full scale guitar be easier to tune and stay in tune better than the "R" tailpiece? I only want an occassional warble effect, not the whole octave dive bomb attack like with a Strat vibrato.

I'd say that you would stay in tune better with the "R".
