Mid-Atlantic Rick- Fest Thank you

Post by skeeterbuck »

I just arrived back from the Mid-Atlantic Rick- Fest and want to Thank John Simmons and all the other attendees. It was a real treat to meet some of the guys on this Forum and see their many fabulous Rics. There were so many nice Rics, but I have to say that John Williams two '58 360's were my personal favorites! Thanks again to all and have a safe trip back home.

Sounds like it was another successful Rick Confluence. This is a really amazing community. I really wish I could have been there!

I love Chicago in April. Hotel Monaco? Allegro?
Have Rics, will travel.

I, too, want to say THANK YOU to John Simmons, Don Cooksey and John Williams for hosting a GREAT RickFest! I had a great time and played some terrific instruments that I otherwise never would have had the chance to try.

I met (and hung out) with some great people today. It was definitely worth the trip! Thanks to you guys! Have a safe trip home!

I share the above sentiments! This was truly a "Grand Day Out"!!! The range of instruments shared with and by all the participants was staggering, to say the least.

Let me add my thanks to the list. It was an absolutely priceless experience.

Even if there would have been no amps there, if we were just there looking and talking, it still would have been priceless.

Thanks a million to everyone!

I also would like to thank Don, John & John plus all who attended. Though I've been lurking around the various boards for the past 5 or 6 years, there was no one that I've ever had any contact with except for John Williams. It was an unbelievable experience to be able to see all these rare and unusual guitars that I've only ever seen in pictures. It was nice to put faces to some of the names I've seen. Most of all it was truly wonderful that everyone who attended was able to freely handle and play any guitar they chose. It speaks highly of the friendship and trust this group express to each other. Thank you one and all for a great day! This concludes my 1st post.
I need more guitar
