Some are sold off. Jeff Rath has a 4004C that bears a NAMM label in the control cavity.

this was a namm bass and then I converted it to a 5 stringer ...

How many guitars and basses do you think RIC would sell if A) the NAMM show was open to the public, and B) If there was a lot of stock on hand to actually sell? Talk about eliminating the middleman!!

Yes, I assume so. I saw John and Ben as well. Had the chance to shake John's hand and thank him. Had I known I would have brought a pickguard to have them sign!
