I'm glad you're excited, Nate! You would recall from day one that I wanted you to be involved in a 'Rick' event of some sort - either here in Oz or the States when you go back there. This is a perfect opportunity for you to meet some fellow afficionados and a "strange person from another land". Image

The fact that have a Rick is your entrance ticket, so something "special" won't make any difference!

When the guys work out where this thing's gonna happen we can put some plans together. My only real concern is knowing where I am flying into. I guess if I land in Toronto I can work my way back into the US from there. Is there an international airport at Buffalo?

I hadn't even considered flying, and i'm certainly not against it. $44 Jet Blue is nice, I can sit back and watch VH1 Classic for a few hours.

At this point, i'd probably ship all my Ricks there - 4003JG, 4001c64, 660/12BB, 330FG. And of course, who knows what else i'd have by then.

Buffalo/Niagara Falls International Airport! And you probably won't have long lines in customs compared with New York or Chicago.

I'm originally from Buffalo and visit there often.

Marc, please bring it. I'll hopefully have my Geddy Lee 4001 there and the jazz bass would seal it.

I'm looking forward to this. Finally getting able to see more than one Rick in the flesh will be great.

I might just have my 4001 and I might have some type of Fender by then. I'm not sure yet. And I was hoping to get a 4003 and have Mr. Rath 4-2-5 it for me. We'll see when the time comes.

I'm heading to Toronto in April to see Dave Gilmour. I'll check it out and tell you if you should stay or not. I went there a few years ago and it was great!

Buffalo would be great for me. Nate, have you moved back to Buffalo yet?

No, family troubles again. One person won't get this, another is'nt stable enough to get this. It's a pain in the ***. Oh well, I'm hoping to get back within a month, but I've been saying that for how long now?

Just so you guys know, we're going to try and fit Aitch's itinerary here and I'm shooting for the 15,16,17th of Sept.

Anywhere in NY State will suit me fine, Marc. I'll be the one waving the Aussie flag...Image

Wow, I've always thought about going to a confluence but never thought it would be around here..well, kind of around here (I'm in new England)
I'll keep checking back- I don't have too much fancy stuff to bring but I'd like to possibly show up anyway. Besides with any luck my Fender-Ricken-Bird project might be done by then!

If it were more Upstate I'd definitley be in, but Westchester's getting near to NYC, isn't it Marc? From Toronto, that'll be around a 10 hour drive.
Aitch - I think it's well worth to spend a day or two in Toronto! It's very nice that time of year and there's lot's to see and do.

I can't really see doing a 10-11 hour drive, especially as we will have just come back from the California trip to RICMecca. Buffalo, Rochester, or Watkins Glen would be better perhaps, as those from Canada may be more inclined to come down for this.
