UK is go!

Mike Smith has kindly agreed to sponsor this event, offering the venue & a buffet at no charge. The venue is easy to get to, with plenty of parking & a pay bar....can't be bad. My band, The Rampant Carnivores will also be performing a shortish spot.....& yes, I will be wearing THOSE shoes!

Because space is limited, please email sales@ricsrus.com for tickets & more info.

I'd like to thank Mike for bringing this together & am certain that we'll all have a great time.

I'm really excited about meeting all our UK members (& anyone from further afield who is in the area at the time!). I've come to look on you as friends, but never met.

On another note, I know that Mike is not an authorised Ric dealer & this was discussed on another thread recently. I asked him to get involved last year & to his great credit, he wanted to do this in a friendly, yet professional manner that befits the esteem that we all hold for our favourite guitar manufacturer. Mike is a fanatical Rickenbacker enthusiast & I think that this should be remembered with regard to this event.

It's going to be GREAT.

Well done Lindsay, it'll be great to see you again. I'll buy you that pint that we didn't have time for on your last visit!

Thank you, gentlemen, I am looking forward to all the above and then some. Why, yes, Howard, I am bringing along some business cards, that counts, doesn't it?

BA was the least expensive for me this time, which is unusual.

BA is generally a good airline, I just used KLM for my jaunt(s) to Chicago - never again! Bear in mind that you want to be in the Midlands (Birmingham).
