A Texas Confluence

Post by wmthor »

Is there any interest? If so should be held in Dallas, Houston, or San Antonio.

My thoughts are that we should get together sometime in October or early November.

If it is around the Arlington show time you will get some of us Brits there (not sure if you'll think that is a good thing or a bad thing!). We had a mini one there last October.

I tried to get one together last year, in Austin(centrally located, live music scene, Bass Emporium). No interest whatsoever.

Yeah, do it around the Arlington or Dallas shows and a lot more guys will potentially show up. I'll come! Peter - bring that other friend of yours from the UK also!

I'm interested in trying to organize something in conjunction with the Arlington show (Oct 21-22). I live in Dallas, so the show is local for me.

I thought about trying to do something last year, but time was too short and I had a conflict on the weekend of the show. I did get the opportunity to meet a few Forum folks (including our UK friends) on Sunday evening for a beer.

I'm open to ideas. Let's discuss.
