What the value of this early 1930's lapsteel?

Post by kanadakev »

Hello,

Maybe someone in this forum can help me in putting a value on a frying pan lap steel guitar and accompanying amp.

The guitar has a label at the top with RICKENBACHER ELECTRO and 2 symetrical lightning bolts with Los Angeles. It is all aluminum or steel and has colored dots on the fret board. There is a serial number 00124 on the top of the head.

The amp is black with rounded hole and vertical black strips for the speaker cover with tweed tissue without any labels on the front. There is a fuse, a switch and 2 jacks on the back.

Any information would be greatly appreciated.
