Here's a link to a clip of Eight Miles High. Can anyone I.D. the bass Chris Hillman is playing? Looks like a Fender body & pickup but with a different neck with a 2 + 2 headstock -- maybe Guild?

I've seen that clip. A P Bas w/ a maple fingerboarded neck, and a rather Gibsonish headstock 2+2 tuners. I wrote to Chris about it once, and he had no clue what it might have been, or where it was from. Maybe some weird Fender prototype?

You can almost depict the "Fender" logo when you pause it at certain points. It's tough because of all that cosmic overlay ****.

My lefty take on that bass.
