A Forum CD?

Post by doctorwho »

OK, after just hearing yet another excellent song recorded by a fellow Forumite, the thought has come to me whether a compilation CD of Forumites' songs would be a worthwhile endeavor. Any ideas?

Good idea Gary. That would be interesting, hearing all the different styles of this fine forums members. I would suggest that CD's would have to be submitted & then the chosen tracks would be semi mastered on to one 'forum members CD'.
'Rickenbacker'...what a name! After all these years, it still thrills me.

Some people tried to organize this on alt.rickenbacker back before this forum existed. I submitted a tune as did some others but nothing ever came of it. I'd be interested in contributing if someone wants to volunteer their time & effort to put it together.

I just finished recording a song with a 1997 re-issue on lead and rhythm, a 660/12 on rhythm and doubling the lead, a 4005 for the bass tracks...and a Gibson acoustic on rhythm. Does the gibby disqualify me??!!??! (Hey, you try finding a Rick acoustic).
