360 v12 bridge

Post by joe »

I have a 12 string saddle bridge and the action is as low as possible. However, the bridge assembly is slanted toward the pick-ups. Is this slanting normal? And if not, how can I remedy this? I tried using the 4 adjusting screws on the corners of the bridge assembly to fix this, but it didn't work. TIA

Is there a reason why this bothers you? The strings need to break cleanly over the crest of each saddle - the rest of the assembly only exists for one purpose: to get the crest of each saddle to the correct height.

There is no physical reason why correctly setting the height of those four screws would not make your bridge level. It sounds like the front two screws are "shorter" than the back two, either raise the front or lower the back.
