Rickenbacker product idea

Post by jblakey »

My wife walked up behind me while I was reading some of the posts here... she says, "I wish they made lawnmowers."

Heh!

It would have a distinctive sound, for sure ...

Once while waiting in agony for a meal my wife had promised, I commented that I would try to 'download a sandwich'.

Fortunately she saw the humor in it...

Image Nice work, Jon!

Is the throttle cable flatwound? Does this model have the newer hi-gain ignition?

Dave, I can tell you this baby has the newer round wound throttle cable on it and a horseshoe style exhaust pipe. The four wheels are Glovers, for some reason the wheel caps keep popping off. I guess I can always glue them on.
Other than that, it's extremely well made. I love the Jetglo finish. I'm the envy of the street!
Oh well, excuse me while I mow my lawn now!

Except for the DFC (Deck Front Cover), I see its got black trim. Is this a customised "Blackstar" mower?

And the 2+2 wheel design certainly makes mowing easier than with the 4-in-line Fender Lawncaster.

I am sure that Jay will like this model mulch better. Perhaps this opening chord will be a little different, however, than that to which he has been accustomed.
Life, as with music, often requires one to let go of the melody and listen to the rhythm

It's perfect for mowing down those Hofner blade pickups!
