Virus warning!

Post by lars »

Peter please delete this thread when the problem is solved.

It seems like this domain has been hijacked by someone trying to spread a data virus. Only by logging in via an old link directly to a thread it's possible to get around it.

People beware!

No issues here with either Firefox, Mozilla, or Opera.

It took me a couple of hours to get here because of it. I thought that I was having problems with my McAfee virus protect. I have now screwed up my setting and am sure how to get them back. It is showing a trojan horse virus.

With type of **** going on it makes me wonder why anyone owns a Windows based computer. Even with expensive virus software there are still problems. I love my Mac!

This caused a lot of grief and for quite a while resisted attempts to remove it from my ISPs server. All domains were affected and its source seems to have had nothing to do with RickResource. It is certainly something to think about!

It would appear that everything is back to normal and with new information we go forward from here. It certainly underscores the importance of virus protection.

I would also delete all temp files and clear your cache in IE, followed by a complete scan of your PC to be sure.
