Keyboard Recommendation

Kind of far removed, but it's worth a try. My wife has asked me to shake the last of my Ric-O-Bucks out of the piggy bank and buy a keyboard. I don't know anything about them but no doubt some of you are or know keyboard players and may have some insight.

I need 88 weighted action keys, piano/synthesizer uses (piano for the kids, Mellotron/synth stuff for me), budget up to around $1200 or so. So far I've found the Yamaha S08, Alesis QS8.2, and Kurzweil PC1X in that range. There must be others. I'd prefer to buy a new instrument.
