So Cal Confluence Cigars
This will undoubtedly be a short topic, but wanted to say to John , I just had a chance to sample the cigar you gave me. A very nice smoke. We (Connie and I) are away in the RV this weekend and I usually take a walk about now and smoke an inch or so off a cigar each night. It was very mild with no bite at all, even less than the Cohiba 40th!
Thank you sir! And to make sure I have something music related:
It's a helluva start, it could be made into a monster if we all pull together
As a team.
And did we tell you the name of the game, boy, we call it riding the
Gravy train.

Charly, I smoked the Cohiba 40th you gave me a few weekends ago at Lake Michigan. It was a very pleasant smoke - nice flavor, no bite, smooth. I thank you also! I can't remember which cigar you smoked that day at SoCal 2007 and which you took with you, but I enjoy both kinds I brought and need to get more - I'm down to 3 cigars in the humidor.
I wonder how Paul and Aitch liked the ones they took with them?

Re: So Cal Confluence Cigars
Sorry I missed out on the cigars at the confluence. I am a cigar nut as well. I managed a cigar shop in college. I was even able to get a picture with the Carlos Fuente Sr. at one of the retail conventions.
Re: So Cal Confluence Cigars
Carlos Sr. had one blend that was his own favorite. I bought 10 at a good reduced price in Erie, PA one time as the guy was closing them out - no one was buying them. I hadn't smoked one, but after I did ( I was back in MI then) I wish I'd bought all he had!
I believe the one Charly just smoked was the Indian Tabac Natural - it was long and around 50 ring size. IIRC at the SoCal event he had smoked a CiFuente put out as a tribute to the above cigar mix.

I can't remember what the heck I smoked either but I enjoyed the one Charly bought for me in the cee-gar bar in LA and the one John gave me to take home.
Thanks again, guys!!

Howard, I was at the Ceegar "bar" yesterday. He gave me a knock off of a Romeo y Julietta anniversary yesterday. Very Smooooooth! It was a blend he has been working on and it wasn't quite strong enough, perfect for me!!
Re: So Cal Confluence Cigars
Excellent, Charly! Give him my regards but please tell him that next time I'd like a fine coffee and Sandeman port to go with it!
Re: So Cal Confluence Cigars
I did mention you, I think mostly in a good way!
Re: So Cal Confluence Cigars

Re: So Cal Confluence Cigars
It was a fun business to be in until the grandstanding health nazis ruined it here in CA.
It would nice to be able to go somewhere and be able to smoke a cigar with a roof over my head.
