Looking good Brian! Lots to see, do and play. Enjoy!
Thanks for the rub Howard. We woke up to 7°F (-14°C) and are supposed to climb all the way up to 16°F (-9°C) today. 'Scuze me while I change out of my shorts...

They're holdin' out on us!
The JETGLO finish name should be officially changed to JETGLO ROCKS!
Re: Two Weeks From Today
I am patiently waiting for pictures I think since they are holding out on us and they should post a mother load of pictures when they do...
Re: Two Weeks From Today
Boy, a big buildup tease, even a mild chide, and now what - we see a keg of beer in the background of one pic and then they disappear!
Re: Two Weeks From Today
Hey Everyone,
Aitch, Penny and Brian have been fairly quiet so far this week. My guess is that they are out and about exploring Melbourne and taking some overnight trips to places like The Great Ocean Rd. They've had perfect weather so far, that's for sure.
Robyn and I are meeting up with them on Sunday afternoon and evening, so I hope to be posting some photos shortly thereafter.

Re: Two Weeks From Today
My apologies everyone for making you wait for an update. As Darren surmised we did indeed make a trip into "the big smoke" (Melbourne city). We travelled by car and train and of course we had a great time blending in with the lifestyle there including the highlight of the afternoon; a visit to an Irish pub.
Today Ron came over to Aitch's and we played music until our fingers were worn down to the knuckles. We had a great time and we played some decent music too if I may say so myself. Ron is a first class "bloke" and I am glad to be able to count him amongst my small circle of friends. We have invited Ron and Fran to come and visit us in Canada.
Aitch took most of the photos and since I have no idea how to put photos up on the new forum I'll leave him to post a few when he gets a chance. Right now Penny, Pat and Aitch are watching highlights of the past Australian "footie" season. Penny is quite taken with the sport.
We went off on yet another excursion today with yours truly behind the wheel and somehow we ended up in another local watering hole for dinner. That car of Aitch's is pre-programmed to make all the correct turns into local establishments it seems.

Re: Two Weeks From Today
Sorry for the delay boys and girls............ we've been chillin' and not doing too much snappin'!
This will start off as a bit of a travelogue. We took the train into the city and Southbank on Wednesday. This is Flinders Street station: And St. Pauls cathedral opposite:

Of course you all know me..... we had to find a beer somewhere, so where else but Beer Deluxe in Federation Square?!
The view down the Yarra river from Southbank:
And back towards the city:

Here's the view from my back door:
Here's another one of Ron and Fran Viney relaxing on my back patio:
The boys from INXS are in town so they invited us on board their little runabout for a beer:
Hahaha........... don't I wish!! These are a couple of pics from Brian and Penny's trip to St. Lucia earlier in the year. Here's another one of Ron and Fran Viney relaxing on my back patio:

Crikey!! You can't even take a snap or two in privacy these days!!
Now to things more musical. Here's me with one of my favourite.... oops!!! Quick, Brian - pass me one of those Ricks, will ya?
Here's 'rocket wrist' Ron playing his beautiful 360v64:
Re: Two Weeks From Today
A study in concentration:
At rest:
Note Brian's habit of putting 'his' picks under 'my' strings....... a sign of approval it seems!! Re: Two Weeks From Today
Brian hadn't played a mandolin before so I brought mine out and you guessed it........ another bloody pick!!
More later.............
Nothing is safe from this devil in disguise! Even one of the keyboards has been scarred for life!!
I reckon poor little Ernie will end up with a pick up his clacker!!
Today we're off to the Healesville wildlife sanctuary to see some kangaroos, wallabies, koalas, emus and hopefully a platypus or two. Brian has already put half a dozen picks in his pocket in case he takes a shine to a few of them!More later.............
