Happy Birthday Steve Howe!

Post by just_bassics »

Steve will be celebrating birthday # 61 today, according to his own book, "The Steve Howe Collection".

Happy Birthday Steve. Hope the Asia tour is going well!

Wish him Happy Birthday but DONT shake his hand!

By the way is Steve using Line 6 combos these days?
I noticed one in a recent shot of Asia.

When is the last time that he used a Rickenbacker?

I think the last time I can remember one being on stage was for the Tormato-10th anniversary tours.
Did he even play it? If so, what song/s?

I still might be wrong. I usually am.

Anyone?

I saw him with his Ric 360 12 on that tour. I believe he stated that it was stolen from his home not long after. :x I can't recall him ever using a Ric guitar since, except, of course, he uses a 1974 FG 4001 on much of his solo material. His book states that he owns a few more, but I've not heard of them surfacing for any studio work.

Wow......61 Congrats Steve!

Pete,

I was lucky enough to shake Steve's had WAY back when Asia was originally formed at a small little venue called Chevy's Bel Air Cafe on Long Island, NY.

All he said to me was "hey, go easy there big fella". So, when I shook his hand, I used no grip at all.

Now if I can only get a chance to meet Chris Squire
