Rome? I'm in Rome? ...I knew that 0 degree longitude thing was a lie. Well at least that explains all the Italian I'm hearing on the streets. There are places where English is about the last language you hear. London is quite the cosmopolitan city.leftyguitars wrote:John, we call them Aeroplanes over here!
Don't forget - When in Rome...
Peter...too bad you couldn't make it down, I was looking forward to meeting the official RIO photographer Perhaps sometime later this year...

Well? We are waiting for the news, guys!!!johneek wrote:But of course!!! I knew that Graham secretly wanted this guitar...I mean REALLY wanted it, but surprisingly couldn't muster whatever it takes to "just do it." (must be the residual effects of modeling the Hoffs' under-things). At any rate, in an attempt to provide a justifiable alibi, he went gallivanting off to the loo just before this particular instrument came up on the block. I figured....he's being an incredibly gracious host, he's a great friend....what choice did I really have? Some big guy outside the Boeing Chalet kept saying, "Invitation Only!!!" Apparently your advance preparations got lost somewhere over Iceland....leesh wrote:Sorry I missed you John I'm assuming the Boeing folks wined and dined you as per my instructions?
