The first thing that I did after tuning it (it was almost perfectly in tune!) and playing it for a few minutes,was replace the missing inlay...I cut one out of a piece of mother-of-pearl,instead of acrylic,and it looks great...you have to be a totally anal-retentive,obsessive-compulsive RIC fanatic to even notice the difference...and yes,it DOES bug me a little,but WTF...nobody has noticed but me...and MAN,you should hear this thing through two TR35B amps,in R/O/S...really zoopy![/quote]Ricknut63 wrote:Did you replace the lost position marker yet?? 4001FL' are great basses, I have a wht/wht (yellowed) 4001FL.
