Private gig tomorrow night
Private gig tomorrow night
I'm throwing a small party for my friends and while there, my best friend Max (who plays piano) and I (who sings and play guitar) are rocking OUT tomorrow night for the first time. We have been rehearsing non-stop since Tuesday, and we've got a great set! I'll be using the 1997SPC for the whole show.
Wish me luck, it's my first "band" performance!

Let's keep it to just a leg, no instruments ...Give it your all!

For those of you who aren't aware, Max is a PHENOMINAL pianist. Here is a link to his Myspace page (where he signed up as an artist) that has videos from his two winter recitals (two from this year, one from last year) as well as some small demos he wrote himself.

I had a great time tonight. There should be photos soon, and I must say, my first gig with someone else was AMAZING. It really was. This must be how all you folks in bands feel after an awesome night.

Yup Jake, playing the music you love with friends...it's wonderful. And for me a genuine addiction. Gotta have it. Can't do without it. And when the magic is there, when we're really rockin' the house, and all the people are up and out of their seats dancing for all they're worth...buddy, I'm telling you, who needs dope?
