Re: Aitch's 2009 UK adventure
Wish I was back in the Borders ...or maybe up the coast in Monifeith.
Aitch, if you're sipping some of Scotchland's nectar might I please suggest a few of my favorites:
1. Briuchladdich (perfect anytime sipper)
2. Glenmoranjie (golden, glorious autumn in a bottle)
3. Ardbeg (vies for smokiest next to Laphroaig -great way to end a day)
Eat a heap of Arbroath smokies while you're at it! Gah, I'm jealous.
Safe travels!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

+1 on the Glenmoranjie! It's the best I've ever had
All I wanna do is rock!

Kira, we need to hang out. =^)
Re: Aitch's 2009 UK adventure
+ 1 on the Glenmorangie here too!!
I have to be careful when drinking the nectar.... I tend to down it like beer!!!
Think I'll be staying away from the McEwans beer, though. Last time I had one of those (in New York, mind you) it gave me the impression I was drinking the residue squeezed from a Scotsman's kilt after a 3 day binge!!!

Well, and it's hard for me to admit, while whisky was perfected in Scotland, beer,I'm afraid, reached its peak at Saint James Gate in Dublin, Ireland...

Why did they boot you out of that waiting area in the HK airport Aitch? Was it a security measure of some sort? They ruined a great conversation we were having about the necessities in life......the devils.

I don't know, Brian, but they roped the area off after I vacated it. I mean it's not as if I passed wind or anything!

Does geography-at-work here mean that Aitch's avatar will keep rotating around, every few hours, as he keeps crossing time-zone changes on this trip
