Another Rarity

Post by royclough »

Another rarity, never recorded by the band but
was a feature on and off of the stage act during the 70s, originally
done by Lesley Duncan, song has been recorded by Oliva Newton John
and Heart to name but two.

Whilst quality of recording not brilliant I like this version.

Pretty song, done in a nice understated manner. Was this from the RCA period?

Wasn't this song made publicly known through Elton John's Tumbleweed Connection LP from 1970? Where the song featured as a duet between EJ and the writer. It had a sound "gimmic", a repeatous scratch which went through the whole song!
