From Kira Moon.

Cover The Hits #8
Life, as with music, often requires one to let go of the melody and listen to the rhythm

I've got no idea why, but I seem to associate in my head a band called Blue Cheer with Summertime Blues - and since I am not aware of having ever heard Blue Cheer, this could well be them :)

Right on, Nick! You got it. Originally from my own hometown, this is Blue Cheer live in Japan in 2003.

That really is weird ! because I have no idea where that came from - I must have read something, somewhere, sometime, about Blue Cheer and Summertime Blues, but I'm pretty sure I've never heard it, or them...
Ok, let's try again.

Even stranger is that it was released as a double sided single (according to google, I had to look after Kira said I was wrong). The other side was an MC5 tune.

Sorry, Roy, for the technical difficulty. And thanks, Greg, for the additional info. :) Odd that they put two bands on one single, but I can hardly think of a better double bill. 8)
