On the following video / lesson I explained how to play easily beyond the 12 fret (on 4th position)
http://www.rdiaz.org/rdvideo195.html
This subject is generally unknown (in fact I feel happy to be the first teacher in the world that explained this topic on video format / internet, according to the tenets of the Paco De Lucia’s technique)
Its very important knowledge because generally, players either:
1) Avoid that zone of the fret board.
2) Experience difficulties playing there (in 4th position).
3) Or end up buying a cut / away guitar…
(this is one of the main reasons, why players lacking this skill “prefer” cut / away guitars over Classical guitars)
Pacos solution:
To master that zone of the fret board.
Examples of that you can see here on the intermediate level
(technique lesson)
http://www.rdiaz.org/rdvideo188.html
On advance level (technique lesson)
for example on minute 1:48 and 3:20 etc.
