You use a standard stereo cable between the ROS output on the instrument to this input. You'll then find one output on each channel. Essentially it's a built in ROS kit.

Hello, I am new to the forum and have a 1967 4001 and a 375/6 as well as an M8, TR25, TR75 and 2 - TR7 amps. The stereo input on the Ric amps that have stereo inputs were designed especially for the stereo guitars to be used without a "Ric-O-Sound" stereo signal split box. They are direct connect. All that will be needed is the ric-o-sound stereo cable.

I think there's some confusion here. You only need a plain stereo cable between the amp and ROS output of the guitar. Possibly you've seen a non-factory kit where the stereo cord detaches from the splitter box- in which case you COULD use the stereo cord only- but that's not the way a genuine ROS kit was put together.
