SCARF `10 featuring Jake Kety?

Ah, that's fantastic news, Skip. I'll be there to load in at 6:45 am, and ready for my first Bloody Mary by 7:45 am.

New attractions could be:
TP&HB and BJ-era Stones lookalike contest?
Beatwear Gift Certificate raffle?
Skinny tie auction-sponsored by me
Hourly Free Beatle Haircut Raffle, sponsored by a local exlusive salon, and my favorite salad bowl?
Michael Stipe-whine off contest
Rickenbacker 12-string-off (we might have to appoint Paul W. as a judge, otherwise he'll prolly win hands down; I think he holds the record).
Sing like Paul Weller tutorial, moderated by Graham Griffiths and Scott Baillie, via Skype if necessary.
AC 30 lift and carry relay race

The Starting Gate sounds like another good possibility.

That early? Bringing the waffle maker? I'll have the first waffle at 8:15 am!
The JETGLO finish name should be officially changed to JETGLO ROCKS! :-)

Did I mention the good-looking (even at 8:00 AM BEFORE my first Bloody Mary) bartenders?

Paolo-at my age, I would rather have a Roadie than a Groupie.

I'll see if I can find a drummer who isn't scheduled to be drunk that day.

A Jake Fest works for me.
Okay, I'll kind of let a paw of the cat out of a possible bag.

One of the places that I've been looking into is a hall, which would be a nice place, the other place would be a super nice venue that was great suggestion by a Hall.

If there is a real SCARF '10 that's do-able in mid October, we'll figure out a way to incorporate Jake's name. Maybe JakenSCARF?!

Just to keep things clear in my mind, :? :? is the Cat's Paw Out of the Bag SCARF Confluence/event with the hall and the Halls, going to be the same event as the JakeFest Jam with the mentions of the Race track venue and the back room, etc.

Or, are we going to be multi-tasking ??  :) :)

I'm not sure what all of those things are, though I've heard whispers here and there, but I like to keep things as simple and consolidated as possible, so I imagine we'll try to do so.

Rich we'll pick a single place for the Jake Jam/SCARF. Which ever place works out best for us, given the situation, cost, etc. Whether it be The Starting Gate, a hall or somewhere else, as usual, we'll all have a real good time! :)

Noted and thanks. :D

By the way, add two more to the list. I passed on an e-mail to Paul, with a confirmation from Henry P. (GATSBY) for the attendees list and our Collective pal, Pat H. (pehayes2) has expressed enthusiasm for our next Confluence.
