The Blue Cafe' is a night club on Pacific Coast Highway in Huntington Beach. It has a nice size stage , not as wide as The Stating Gate, but much deeper. They have a very nice sounding PA. Paulie knows the people there from having his band, Smiling Face Down do gigs there. Having a mini-con at The Blue Cafe'will depend on three things; We'll need enough people to attend, the club owner has to agree to let us have the jam there and we'll need a drum kit for the day.
Paulie, Rich and I are working out an idea for a future mini-con that will be a bit different than how they have been in the past.

Would this be the 22nd?
If so, we have a gig in Santa Monica that night. :|

How's the head count coming?

If you can point me towards some tab/chord charts for the newer stuff, I can start mangling them now in preparation for the jam.

My 4003FG and I are in!

And good choice on the Blue Cafe if that ends up happening. My band, the Anxiety Works, has played there several times and been very happy doing so!

Thanks! Yeah, I finally broke down and joined in. Looking forward to meeting some of you guys (and your RICs!) next month!

And I'm hoping nobody will have a 4001C64 that I can try. That'll just make me want what I can't afford even more!

It's looking more like the date will be changed from 1/22/11.

If it's 1/15 or 2/5, I'm out. Otherwise, I'll try to be there.

Santa got Spence a guitar starter pack for Christmas. He's determined to learn a three chord ditty to play along with at the next jam!
