A question... due to being waaay between jobs, MARF would be a day trip for me but I really wouldn't know until Friday the 15th (If I get some piece work that wins). So if I showed up Saturday morning with three basses could I get in?

Um............. unfortunately I won't be attending but I'd LOVE to get hold of an XL T-shirt.

If GG is going maybe he could pay for it and take it back to the UK. I can pick it up from him and pay for it in July.

I will be there Friday afternoon, but won't be joining the gang for supper. I have a rare opportunity to meet up with one of my childhood friends who I discovered lives about a mile from POR. We lived on the same street back in the mid 1960s, and he moved to Cherry Hill, NJ, just before our senior year of high-school. I phoned him in 1973, and that was the last contact I had with him. On a whim, I wondered if he could still be in Cherry Hill, so I found a person by that name in West Berlin, NJ, with anywho.com, and called the number. Sure enough, it was my old friend. So he and his 90-ish mother and I will be reliving (really) old times Friday evening. I also invited him to come by Saturday and see what all the fuss is about. This will be a great weekend!

One week to go...

Unfortunately my son has announced that his pursuit of vinyl is more important than Rickenbackering and therefore will be record shopping with his mother that day. His concern is that there are many records released specifically for the Record Store Day, and there's no way of knowing which stores are getting what.So he wants to hit as many stores as he can that day.

Are you still coming?
