Fly From Here (overture, Part I) - bass cover clip

Post by miguelbass »

Celebrating the return of our beloved Chris and YES with a fantastic album in 2011!

By the way this is my first clip featuring my 4001CS after the work performed by Paul Wilczynski, who I had the great pleasure to meet in my recent travel to San Francisco.

Thank you, Paul!

Miguel

Very fast, Miguel! Of course you've had it longer than us here in the US. Another great rendition performed by you!

Curious - what did the CS have done to her?

Hi John, mainly it was a full revision to the neck/truss rods and now it's wired in stereo
Still, Paul Wilczynski did a full revision on other items like finish and fret surfacing. I have to ask Paul for the precise technical report.
It's like having a new bass, only - better :)

FANTASTICO!
first of all, thanks for the preview! great to hear the new material in its full form, and you were superb,as usual! I have the cd on order from amazon,so it will probably be next week before i get it. Good to hear you got to meet Paul W.,as well, and have him fine-tune your CS. I got to meet him at the BARC last summer, and he is a great guy. (did you get to check out his FG 4005,btw?)

Miguel,

I am constantly impressed by Your interpretation of, and skill with which you play Squire's bass parts!!!!!!!

I have always dreamed of replicating his sound and style. Where I dream.......you DO!!!!!!!!

GOD!!!!! I enjoy hearing and watching you play the bass!!!!!!!
