Graham's huge and wonderful collection is featured in this months Guitar & Bass magazine in a massive six page drool inducing spread.

Well, Adolph Rickenbacker was apparently born Rickenbacher and changed the spelling of his name at some point. But I doubt that's what the magazine staff were thinking ...

No, normally not! Big mistake in writing. As we know the real Name Rickenbacher was changed into Rickenbacker long time ago. Since it is on the instruments it is used with a "k" when talking about.

I agree. The first rule of a writer is to do your homework (check your facts) and the second is to check your source and reference material until you can practically recite it.

I just figured it was one of those British English spelling things like cheque vs. check, etc.
