Not many realize it, but Kirwan was every bit as good as Peter Green and played some *killer* guitar solos. Then there's the rest of the story... (http://www.fleetwoodmac.net/penguin/danny.htm)

If you check out my postings from awhile back on another Fleetwood Mac thread (Christine Perfect McVie) there are some cool You Tubes - and the best are with Kirwan.

Danny Kirwan was an exceptional guitarist and its a shame his personal tragedies put him under.
