Looks great, Kevin. That's about as good as I'll see the new Ruby color until this summer at SCARF '12...

Kevin you've got to stop doing this. What a magnetic for Rickenbacker lovers. Must have the precious!
Life, as with music, often requires one to let go of the melody and listen to the rhythm

Stop? :? ......... I have had trouble just slowing down.

Actually, I believe this is the first "brand new" Rick I have bought since 2009.

Mine's the first new Rick I've bought in over a decade. Nuts.
There is no reason to ever be bored.

...why yes, I suppose I do have a double bound guitar fetish...

Oh, my, that is amazing.
The gold on that ruby sure is something else. Ruby didn't move me much until I saw this. Absolutely fantastic.

As wonderful as Kevin's photos are :D , you really need to see Ruby in "the paint" to truly understand how fantastic it is. 8)

You know I got a sense of something more with this color when I looked at Kevin's photos, particularly the last photo. That photo, unlike any other I've seen, showed me that there a lot is more to the paint than I thought. The light on the back of the neck made the ruby color glow and sparkle and shine in a spectacular manner. I now see that when the light hits that ruby in a certain way the color looks almost radioactive! (And I mean that in a good way.)
