325v63 or 325c64

Post by Medicus1963 »

Hello,

i am the proud owner of a 325v63 and i love this guitar! But now i have the chance to buy a 325c64 for about 3000 USD.
Is the overall improvement of sound and playability worth buying it ?
My 325v63 is one of the first built in1984 and could maybe become vintage.
What do you think?

Thanks to all !!

Peter---the sound and playability will be nearly identical. The c64 will simply be closer in spec to a true 60s 325.

Your v63 is probably a great guitar but bear in mind---nothing magical happens when it crosses the line to "vintage." It will sound the same and be worth the same amount of money. ;)

My advice---just enjoy your v63.
