All I see are get-togethers for sunny Calif. and cold Minn. Don't people ever get together in my reachable states like Mass., NH or even CT? Huh? Where is everybody?

If you organize it, they will come...

Might even get some of us Noo Yawkers to make the trip. :D

well, I'm a newbie. Just trying to pick up guitar again and get it past where I left off in 7th grade, l o n g ago, back when trying to do folk and emulate J Baez and Simon & Garf. were my thing. Then I woke up one day and said, "I always wanted a Ric.!" (Note the singular "a"). Now I have my Rics :) (note it became plural), and I just want to be with some people who love their Rics too. And maybe someone will teach me a riff I can learn. So maybe we could have a Mass. meeting somewhere sometime?

Cool! Where in Mass are ya?

Every 18 months or so we have the Mid-Atlantic Rickenbacker Fest, or MARF, in South Jersey. As far as I know, there isn't one being planned right now so perhaps the time is right for a small Northeast gathering.

Emily we have a presence in western MA. Lots of Rick 12's and basses out this way. Like John said, if you hold it, the Ricks will come.

I'm in Maine. A NERF (New England Ric Fest) would be fun.
