Fender BXR300R Amplifier

Post by cheyenne »

Found one of these beat up pretty bad for $100.00, but I think it can be salvaged. I own a little BXR25 combo and love it. I was just wondering if anyone had any experience with its big brother.

Opinions?

I own a BXR300 and it is the most powerful and reliable Fender bass amp I have owned. It used to push a SVT cabinet loud enough to equal a Laney 100 /412 rig in a loud garage band I played in. Sometimes the ceiling light would dim when I swtched it on!

I have the BXR300 combo and it has been a real workhorse for me. It has a few scars from use, but I've taken pretty good care of it. IMO, it and it's 100wt little brother, were among some of the best amps Fender has made.

I had a BXR Dual Bass 400.
4X10 & 1X15.
Sold it in 1995. It really moved some air.
It was bullet-proof.

I'm SURE you're gonna love your new amp!
