Does anyone here have one or have experience with Parker basses? Just curious because my Fly is such a peculiar guitar and I wonder how their approach translates into the low end.
So who's got a Parker bass story?

Re: Parker Basses
I played the fretless at Namm this year. Hands down the best fretless bass I've ever played. Also, coincidently, one of the most expensive. Over 5 grand.

The JETGLO finish name should be officially changed to JETGLO ROCKS!
Re: Parker Basses
True dat.
Re: Parker Basses
I only played one at a store in Bryn Mawr, Pa, a few years ago, the original design, the hollowbody one, not the current ones, so I don't qualify for an opinion on these modern solidbody Parkers.
Re: Parker Basses
I don't know much about the new Parkers either, since they started making them overseas. My American made Fly is a thing of wonder.

Someone has a used one listed in oregon that i love the look of.(its red) . I have not seen one in person, but there are tales on talkbass of them having various "issues". It is one of the more unusual designs out there, both in terms of construction, and esthetically.
