Alright I had someone contact me with one of these for sale, I think he's expecting way too much for it.
He tried to sell it on EBay and it got shut down. He's claiming it's worth $600 and as much as $2500.
I think he's crazy to expect anything even close to that, I certainly wouldn't consider it.

Any thoughts?

Whatever money one would spend on that.. is that much less you would have to spend on the real deal.

It's authentically fake.

The clever thing about plywood is that it also sounds like plywood. Amazing how they pull that off.

Sometimes plywood can be interesting. I had a Precision bass kit made of plywood. This guy I know painted it for me. He forgot to seal the body 1st. I think it must've eaten a gallon of paint. It actually sounded amazing. It was candy apple red with what looked like grain in the contours. :mrgreen:

It was certainly worth it's weight in firewood.

I might consider it, as a novelty wall hanger to go with my Epiphone Frankenstein
12-string. Not for what he wants for it, though; and besides, it's wrong handed. :D
