Music Man has recently starting making the Sabre model again, which would be great in a fretless version.
The JETGLO finish name should be officially changed to JETGLO ROCKS! :-)

Colin Moulding is great! That does indeed look like a FL Musician bass he's playing that very cool bassline on.
Sorry-what is NT and SN?

The musician bass is probably the best value way to go and they were so well made!

Morgan,NT=Neck Through (like a 4003),SN =Set Neck
It isn't probably that big a deal to most,it's just an alternative construction to Fender-style bolt-on necks.

Woody, a strong recommendation against de-fretting. The problem is that you end up doubling the number of decisions you need to make. With a proper fretless, you have the side dots at pitch and that's all you need. WIth a de-fret, you have to identify the side dot and the filled in fretline. Too much thinking and not enough playing. My $0.02.
Can we have everything louder than everything else?

That seems to be the way i'm headed at present, but i seem to be finding i do best if i don't even look at the fingerboard! (Which hasn't been easy!)
