Hi, everyone! I'm having trouble uploading a picture for my avatar. Each time I try a different picture, I'm told that the file is too large. I apologize if this topic has been brought up before. I looked at the FAQ page for ideas but I guess I'm missing it.

I'm not sure if it says this on the "Edit avatar" page is you don't have a picture there yet, but on mine it says:

Maximum dimensions; width: 100 pixels, height: 100 pixels, file size: 19.53 KiB.

If you size it so that it fits those parameters, it will work. I know JPEG and GIF files work, PNG might too.

Thanks for the reply. I keep trying to resize it on my phone but I guess I'm not doing it correctly.

I used it for my current picture. There are options to resize the photo and limit the file size.
