TRC

Post by partime »

Hello, anybody have a preferably white TRC, (black might work) that they would part with for a reasonable price. Or any advice where to look. Already checked the marketplace and so far ebay wants a alot for whats available. Thank you.

It's probably mostly the "reasonable price" thing. TRCs are not readily available, you can't get one from RIC without trading in an old one and some cash, so "extra" ones, that aren't fake, can't really be found for a reasonable price...
I have NO idea what to do with those skinny stringed things... I'm just a bass player...

It's interesting that 15 to 20 percent of a used low-end Rickenbacker production guitar's value is in its TRC. That's the value of a well-developed and protected brand.

Still have it, too, but unused at the moment as I sold the V63 earlier this year. 8) Just waiting for the right project for it and the magnetic horseshoe pickup.

I cracked the TRC on my 1975 lefty 4001.

Can that still be replaced? (not sure if they've changed in any way since then)

Who would I direct an email to in regards to acquiring more info on this?

THANKS!
