Bill Nash ran into the same problem years ago...does not sell direct anymore only through dealers and now uses his logo on the stock.
Now one might wonder why Fender does not go after these guys that use a few genuine vintage parts then market the guitar as a real 50's or 60's Tele, Strat etc..maybe cause those don't compete with Fender's current production line...the vintage fakers are the real crooks imo
